This work began with rethinking the relationship between humans and nonhumans, in effort to move away from an anthropocentric perspective.

The guitar bot plays a blues scale, triggered by signals from the plants. The sorrow embedded in blues echoes the overlooked histories of nonhumans.

It is aligned with the previouse work "jam with a plant" in the sense that the plant is the main actor, and it highlights the plant's agency.

This work explores alternative ways of using technology to communicate with nonhumans.
